    Portrait of Richard

Well guys here is a drawing of Richard, one of the models here at school. 18x24 charcoal on white paper. All hand drawn (no gridding or anything). Let me know what you guys think. I hope you enjoy it.

Impressive work. I especially enjoy how you rendered the eyes and beard.

    Good work!

great job... i'd put a little more contrast between the face and the background, but that's just my personal opinion. it's fantastic.

Very very impressive work. It's quite inspiring for me to look at this! To me, there are few works that actually seem to be alive, but I can honestly say that this piece has life. It is a very strong piece.

As others have said, great modeling of form, and great value structure. Looks like you got a prime seat, as the angle of the light is perfect to really describe the forms. The edges are top notch too! Fuzzy on the edges just a bit, but sharp in the facial details! Really really impressive.
