So how does everybody feel on are instant gratification society where living in think it's distracting you from your art? Lately I've been thinking about this so been trying to discipline myself on being patient and trying to get more focused. I feel as if I worry about a lot more things in life then I should be. Anyway that's my little rant.

lionheartGFX- will do now only if I can get my lines like that in digital

some Bridgman warmups today before I get into painting. Feels good to have a little study goal each day. If you haven't checked out RoboGabos sketchbook you defiantly should he posts a study everyday quite inspiring http://conceptart.org/forums/showthr...ketches-amp-Mo

Jamie great studies mate!!! Add edges in the play, to paint space. Well worry only when you think you are not doing what you want to do, and re-direct your actions based on that
    lets keep up mate

kingkostas- ah Mr Kostas good to see you still around man! Edges sure are a mysterious subject something I should keep more of an eye out for. Always much appreciated for your words defiantly always encouraging.

Revidescent- haha trying to. Looking through Robogabos sketchbook gave me a good kick in the butt.

Hey man, that's an interesting question =) Can only really speak from my own view but basically I need to work slower I think. Spend like twice as long on something when I would normally spend like 3 hours for example, so I (should) do 6 instead.

Hey Jamie thanks for the stop by in the sketchbook. So I shall return the favor Your last image with the angel/devil/demon needs a little bit more work on the wings. The right wing looks out of perspective compared to the left wing. It is raised too high and the foreshortening is off. As of right now it looks as if the wing is coming out of the middle of his back/neck area rather than the shoulder blade where the wing should come out of. His right knee also needs to be moved slightly to the right a bit. Try sitting/kneeling in that posture and see what I mean. Hope some of this helps.

Tetsuo! think about Akira when I read your name. Thanks for the critique on my last piece there's defiantly a lot of wonky stuff in that painting should have spent more time on the initial construction stage.
