Some nice lines bro D: really cool studies here. Flesh out a character using the same method now, and then figure out what you're having trouble with and then study that area! Ahhh cool keep it up!

Krato-Thanks alot man ill try and keep at them.

agelaos-Thanks for the tip man i did some mind figures now and man its a pain i have so much to learn.

    AlexTooth-thanks dude!

zhonked-Ill do some more immagination stuff not cheezy characters though i really need to learn how to draw the figure frommy mind now.

    ---------------------------
so besides art i like to ride my bike its alot of inspiration to me. its almost like an art form in itself. It may sound weird but when i draw i try to put my joy for riding bikes into my art, i want to be able to show it more, its hard to explain haha.heres Chase dehart one of the most creative bike riders around

heres todays batch of figure studys from bridgemen and hogarth. Man drawing a realistic figure is so so hard from your mind, if you havnt noticed theres so many flaws in my characters from past pages, i would hide my flaws with armor or some other cheezy crap. Today ive learned how much more i have to learn. I also did some more posemanics these ones are actually timed 30 seconds good warm ups for the day. If anyone could do some draw overs on my figures i would greatly appreciate it, i really want to learn what i need to work on.
the figures from mind i rushed i got pretty frustrated with them.

Waa man, nice studies. The ones from mind shows you're heading the right way. Lines are bit less confident in those I think.

Just keep at it. And take a look at them in 2 weeks or so, you'll see improvement, I'm sure .

Edit: And man, post #397, just great. Please don't be embarrassed. These are very cool to see. Can you show some more of them?

Hey hey... nice gestures in your recent work!
I like how your digitals are progressing, it takes time, like all art tools, to get familiarised with. That said, your practices and studies are pointing in the right direction =)
For your last still life though, Id recommend you to be more bold with your pencil marks (use darker tones, even if you think it kills the piece!), and pay attention to soft edges and contrast (esp in the water vase)

Nontheless, good, solid progress, and keep on happy art-ing!

This stuff is incredible. Really, some of the better art I've seen on this site. I'd criticize you, but I'm just not good enough to find your weak points, yet.

    Keep Drawing.

Krato-Thanks bud yeah your right there are alot of flat areas in that still life i did really gotta pay more attention to how values work in certain areas. The figure is really skinny to just noticed that haha.

    GweNdZ-ahh thanks

kingkostas-Hey sup man yeah im gona try and clean things up now think more about what im doing before I lay down paint or a pencil stroke. cheers

AndrewLey-Thanks for dropin by Andrew that means alot to me. Ill keep up the anatomy studys fersher.

kischi-must make them cleaner haha thanks for dropin by dude

Aberzheim-Thank you for the kinda words, yeah was kinda rusty with the pencil rendering probly should have taken more time to just look at the still life instead of just letting my mind just render the objects.

Basham-haha my stuff is no were close to the artists on this site really. Thanks for the nice words though ill keep at it.

    --------------------------
another style of riding its really smooth instead of tech tricks. Riders are Chase Hawk and Mike Aitken, recently Mike Aitken was in town my freinds got to meet him I was at home drawing though haha no worrys though.

A photo study today I was really close to just give up becuse it was really hard in the begining. I kept with the struggle though, another blob render render. I could have pushed it further im pretty tired though. Thanks for all the kind words guys and gals there really making me keep up with this art thing.

woo great workload every day! figures from the mind are an awesome way to confront your weaknesses, so keep them up until you build some confidence in it! that's advice I'm giving myself too, haha.

i love your stuff. especially all the character paintings. Its also cool to see you work on all the various elements though (enviros, vehicles ect.). everything you draw and paint has an awesome look to it, a style but like nothing ive seen. oh and you seem to really have color composition down

Art and kindness are my weapons of choice.

Hey omerta, it's been like a year since i saw your work last and i have to say you going great i can really see the improvement all i want to see is some tighter work i dont know where i can find your finished stuff. But maybe take a little more time on somethings, i just feel maybe a few things are rushed.

    But yeh awesome stuff.

The studies you've been doing really shows! The last few digital pieces are really strong. Have you tried doing the studies with a different medium? Doing Bridgman with a brush pen is really fun!

Haha, cool thing you pushed through with that last painting, you feel satisfied know, don't you?
Little crit maybe, I think you placed the shadow and highlight somewhat too much to the right on the nose, just a little bit . Hmm I don't really know, I suck at painting noses .
