    Busts or Bust

A couple of 2 hour busts to finsih off a series of articles on Zbrush for 3d creative mag. (I had to keep the time under 2 hours as they are aimed at new users and didn't want to over face them.)

Both made from a 32 polygon base mesh made from ZSpheres.

Thanks guys. The sort of thing I was aiming for with the red guy (The Leech) was indeed a sort of doom 3 sort of thing...well doom 3 meets the modern Doctor Who series. I was aiming for a monster / villain that would slide in pretty easily to it.

Finally managed to get him all textured up so I can move onto some other ones now.
    Enjoy

These are really good! I really like the first guy; he reminds me of the aliens from the movie Fire in the Sky. The glossy, empty, black eyes really look great.

The second guy is also really cool looking but it seems like his teeth and mouth are more bark than bite; with the size of teeth that he has it doesn't look like he can open up his mouth far enough to really bite down on anything. Maybe it's just that his lack of length in the neck gives me the feeling that his jaw has nowhere to go but back into his throat. Still looks freakin' awesome though!

A couple fo doodles done tonihgt...

    Kthulu(unfinished)

Doctor Who: the 9th doctor - Chris Eccleston

Had time for a couple of quick doodles tonight...been a long week and I've sort of made up for the lack of personal stuff with these 2 ..(actually theres a 3rd one as well but I dont want to push my luck lol) .

Yeah the red guy is totally impractical really, but I sort of got attached to him while messing around with the intial idea so I kept going. Usually I dump anything early on thats impractical.
