hey man, great stuff going on, can't wait to see more. I really like the red environment painting, nice contrasts and lovely edges. It seems as the others are lacking in contrasts though, which makes them a bit boring, exept for the bright desert pic, wich is great too. But other than that I really dig what I see, awesome pencil portraits!

    Agreed on the contrast comment.

I love those first two digi sketches!

Wow, the portraits are awesome! It really works with your rendering style. Hope I learn that technuiqe to soon or later. love it!
Im fine with your desaturated enviros but I think you could add some thing that is interesting and makes you look at them a bit longer.
    More? :]

I like to see artists still using that cross hatching tech.
    I agree with motives' statement.
use a little more atmospheric perspective....knock the colors in the background back more by hazing them out.

corel painter has a great blender brush (i think its grainy water) that can instantly produce this effect.

    nice stuff though.

Excellent hatching on the pencil work! The faces almost seem to have this classical feel to them, very unique.

You capture the human form very well.
Your figure paintings are great, but even better are your portraits.
Please continue to post your progress.

What kind of ink do you use? A nice drawing ink, or a ballpoint pen, or...?

Once again, beautiful hatching. I can feel a palpable sense of aesthetic pleasure when I look at those hatchings. Jeez. Please post more!

I really like how you're able to switch styles, from classic to comic book to graphic and the in-betweens. Sweet stuff!
