Your drawings are awesome!
I think I prefer your brush and pencil work more than your pen stuff. After I looked at a few of your pen drawings, they started to all look the same. But I kept going back to the your pencil drawings (the ones of the deer). Those lines are just gorgeous!
Keep up the good work.
These are really great sketches. I like the stylistic look to it.
Love your work John. Your lines are sexy as hell.
Nice one for sharing.

I WILL BE TEACHING A NEW CLASS at Gnomon!!!
In this G N O M O N class you will be encouraged to express your creativity in as many ways as possible. We look at different illustrators each week for inspiration. These exaggerated character designs can be used as jumping off points for future animations, Zbrush figures, Graphic Novel concepts, and gallery work. We draw nude and costumed models with different themes in mind. This class in not about making perfect drawings but giving you an open arena to explore and learn to love drawing.

I love your work!!!
it's interesting to see you say you're a lot less careful now. I'm struggling with the very same thing; my artistic education was pretty formal, and i find it so hard to loosen up and not worry about making mistakes, even though i know it's necessary to improve. just wanted to let you know what an inspiration you are: i'm working on a piece now, and have your nudes in front me as i work.
btw, think if i was drawing what you were in school i would've been out on my ear
Pratt is okay, I'm thinking of transferring to some of the other schools I was accepted in like RISD or MICA.
I'm looking for a college where I can study art direction for live-action film, but it seems like that's a little too specific...
any idea which schools might have a good art direction or production design program?
loving your drawings as always,
loads of flamboyant style, and the mob is cheering. We all know you are smart, and there are lots of wits in the drawings. But it takes so much more than mere style to become a truly great artist.
great stuff! I love the loose portraits on page 4. Looks like you're drawing on the edge of control.
