    Holy Cow!

I remember you from years ago at CSSSA calarts program (I think it was 02 or 03?) ...Ive been looking for some of your work online for awhile now, and Its great to finally find it!

thanks for being a source of knowledge and inspiration back then, it was definitely a big part in shaping my early perceptions about art and animation.

There's an expressive quality to your figure drawings that has always fascinated me and I think has left an impression on how I draw and see the world. Glad to see your here on CA, and l look forwards to seeing more of your work! -Carl

Okay, you've taken a page from Schiele's book, but in the end it's really all your own thing. Don't stop that music!

Thanks so much for everyone's feedback! I just wanted to say I wasn't born with a crumb of talent... I went to a great art school, (Pratt Institute) met some amazing teachers (David Passalaqua, Corny Cole) and learned to study other artists as much as possible. I looked at art from the 1960's, Egon Schiele, Klimt, Hans Bellmer, Star Wars, Giger, and on and on. Now I teach at Cal Arts and a bunch of other schools. The secret is just to study the masters and the world around you. I feel like I'm just getting started! My goal is to put away my art pens and sculptures and become a live action film director... so yea... more studying!!!

    Wishing you all the best!!!

    Passalaqua was the shit
wonderful work, smellin' a bit of istvan banyai in your work as well as who you've mentioned. I will certainly be back for more

PS: you're one of very few people who would ever call Pratt a great school other than myself lol

    Thanks for sharing!
