Putting kids drawings through the Monster Engine

Note: Lemme know if this is/isn't a good place to post.

I've recently been summoned by my gorgeous gal to give her year one class some art lessons, covering elements of line, shape, colour and so on. Needless to say it's rather entertaining. Nothing like passing on some art skills to a room of budding young minds. @:-D

We've been in the school's computer lab working with Kid Pix, with myself demonstrating on a SmartBoard, getting the kids in on the act aswell (we'll be doing pencil and paper too).

Covering different line types yesterday, we drew a dog as a class. At the end of the lesson, I thought I'd save all the kids work and upload them up (with teacher's permission) to see if people might be interested in Monster Engine'ing them for a bit of fun. @:-)

So, pick out one of the kiddy's drawings, give 'em a work over, then post 'em here. I know the teachers are interested in checking out the results, and I might even run them by their classes too. We'll see. I promise I'll join in with my own modified attempt soon (the last demo I did for them is the first picture below).

Wow! This is something really different. This made me pretty intressted.

Some of those are pretty scary - like "I can't sleep tonight because of this" scary.

One of my art teachers in college, Marx Myth was doing revamps of his kids work and it was really interesting how he drew over them. Definately inspiring and I'll have to try it. Count me in!

well, my paintover isn't so spectacular and 3d-like as the ones of the Monster Engine and I did it quickly, so it isn't so nice and tidy it could be, but hey, I'm just a beginner
I've chosen this drawing: Putting kids drawings through the Monster Engine because it was well defined and formed enough to give me an idea
I tried to keep the original lines, but in uniform line width
Putting kids drawings through the Monster Engine
    it was fun
