Those are some lovely digital master studies.
Since I already mentioned that I love your art...I'll just say it here too.... Your master copies are AMAZING!!! It will truly be an honour to get my ass kicked by you talent
I was inclined to see your stuff after the beautiful portrait you did of me
I'm truly blown away! Your colour sense, especially regarding skin tones, is something else. It's so subtle. You seem to grasp natural light beautifully, something I (and most, I think!) find so hard to do. I bet all those master studies are paying off.
Well, consider me subscribed. Eagerly awaitening more
whooaa! i love that portfolio piece!!! thats just awesome

"Poor is the pupil who does not surpass his master
The studies are awesome.
Fantastic work man, what color theory are you using?

Marth: Errr my own??? hahaha sorry if that wasnt the answer you wanted...i usually experiment until I think something is good. or it comes to me from the beginning.
Petitemistress: haha yeah i should hopefully I'll remedy that. I still feel like an ass by the way
Anyway here's a WIP Pinup..it's just the face for now but it's part of a larger picture...not so happy with the face...some thing i want to change...if you guys think of anything please do share.
woohoo love this last piece post more more more!!!!
Saw your process on the first page, think I'll try it. Thanks for posting it.
Another Velazquez study. Wanted to see how quickly I could lay paint and come out with a cohesive painting. I think this was clocked at 15 minutes. I think I burnt my tablet. Will probably stop doing these quick studies in favour of a more timely study.
This one is from Las Meninas.
so why don't you have 5*s yet.... it's outrageous. pfft, loving the latest updates.
oh and HIIIIII
awww i love your bouguereau studies. I need to do more myself. hey what art program do you use??? i'm sure it might be some where in your thread, but I am too lazy to go looking.
Hey Spaz thanks!! I'm using photoshop cs4
My first Rembrandt study. Spent a lot more time on this....might go back and finish it...bu for now that collar thingy was driving me crazy!! I do believe this is a portrait of Johannes Wtenbogaert who was one of the greatest religious leaders of the Dutch Golden Age.
dude!!! you're rembrandt study is awesome!! you just made me feel that my master studies are weak!!
Nice sketchbook from what I observe, I think you need to improve you're skill of producing illustration without the use of reference. just my opinion.
Anyways awesome sketchbook!!!
Petite: Wlik inteh fucking delicious.....yalla khalina na3mel mou7adara!!
Nkristian: Hehe thanks, your right but in my defense most of my good illustrations aren't shown here due to NDA restrictions....hopefully i'll be able to wow everyone in the NewBorn contest. Thanks for stopping by.
