Looks cool man, You might want to explore even more those characters, add shapes, objects, etc that actually fit to the characters you draw. kind of like making a whole library for each characters, so you know what works and what doesnt... errr just a suggestion
Keep working man
wicked updates, I haven't dropped by in a while. Shame on me! I really like the half man/ half machine monster you posted back in post 258. Keep on cranking out those studies and self portraits! You're improving fast, dont get lazy!
bharat: Sorry, forgot replying to you! Thanks! Ahim: Haha, thanks! DeeLock: That is an inaccurate statement, but thanks a lot, haha! themissinglink: Glad you think so, thanks! DanielC: Thanks man, good points. wookiedabo: Glad you think so man, thanks! AustenFM: Thanks man, I'll try not to get lazy for sure! Dile_: Thanks, I will!
A sketch, an outdoor study of a couple of bikes standing around and Hogarth studies. Time to get busy on the ChOW!
Ooh! I've been skeptical about Hogarth based on what I've read in these forums, but your latest studies make me see that I could learn a lot from his books. Beautiful work...loving the butterfly butts. Looking forward to the ChoW wips!
Good lordy do I heart your pencils dude, seriously, actual real life love.
No crits this time around man, just keep up the workflow.
*EDIT* Also I am curious man, wondering if you could help me with something, your pencils seem to have no underlaying initial structure, like when I draw out a character I have to map everything out first bridgeman style i.e box for head, upper torso, lower torso etc. You seem to just go for it and it turns out fine?is this right or are your initial lines just REALLY faint?
