Really dig the line-work in your sketches. I like the gritty, somewhat creepy quality in some of your work, they have a lot of character.

And thank you for following me on tumblr, its very flattering that such a talented artist is among my followers!

i was told today that a brush takes a long time to 'perfect'.
while i came up with a brush that i liked very much, i haven't yet reached the goal of feeling like there's no gap between my mind and the canvas, like i can sometimes with trad painting.

Your pen sketches are so awesome! Also, you owe me a video game character redesign .

summer term begins in 5 days.

squeezing in as much mileage as i can. a mistake/lesson learned with each one along the way.

one that was thrown in my face is that pens can and do affect the quality of your line drawings. gonna have to put my favorite shitty pen down for these studies from now on.

Congrats on the job, and making it through the semester at Art Center? Your linework is looking great, it's something I'm working on right now, and I'm really jealous, it's so clean...!

    ...the imperfections make it interesting...
