    tried to finish this old ass psd but i'm sick of fighting with it

    i learned a lot about the importance of a good clear underdrawing among other things and am ready to apply that acquired knowledge to my next painting.

    thanks mr tree for helping me learn that but screw you for looking like crap >C even though it's my fault

    Keep it up. I think posting flawed works (works that YOU see as flawed) is probably the coolest thing ever. It's such an inspiring thing to see people who are pretty good show their humanity. It's really honest and badass and means a lot more. Authenticity, baby. Seriously, people appreciate it. I hope you keep posting more. (e - unless I misunderstood ha ha).

    The white version of the last one has some nice implied detail. Very cool.

    Rock on!

    Hay hay hay, thanks for posting on our sketchbook! I really like what you're doing here. I think I need to switch to more traditional mediums when I'm doing more technical drawings like machinery. I can't draw a straight line on a tablet to save my life! Keep up the great works matey.

    The construction/product design sketches are awesome, I think they're a big help with understanding how to build from imagination and err stuff. Really inspired to do some art now!

    thanks for your support guise.
    koto: i'm at art center in pasadena *v*

    here are those poop composition studies i promised earlier.
    i described how we basically did it in post 2222.

    this first one we were given 3 seconds to observe the model's pose, [which she was told to break right afterward ;A;], and 1min to recreate the pose from our memory and make a compo.
    will called this visual manifestation of panic 'the festival of women hopping around and pointing at each other'

    the rest were 3min poses, which, while still pretty difficult. much more forgiving than those 3sec ones. ;_;

    he ended the class this week with encouragement to make narratives like these in our regular figure drawing workshops. making good looking figures is only half the battle. the real question is whether or not you can tell a story effectively with them. D:

    First of all thanks for your comment on my SB. Good advice that makes sense and I'll try it out this week in my drawing session

    Now to your own work I am really impressed with the amount of improvement that is shown here. I wish I could give some constructive critique, but short of keep going I have no clue what to say. You're definitely on the right path...

    Good luck.

    holding to my 'dont be embarrassed.' every drawing is a step forward. sometimes it's not a step in the exact direction i want, but i get better at something with each line i make, i guess.

    some character drawings. sorry about the bad angle. it was either that or a shadow of my fat head. ;o;
