Hey man, dig your stuff! Your sketches are very elegant. Keep on working hard my man. ; ) Also, loved your "Arctic War Beast". Like how they have these big plates on the noses. Interesting to have the "horn" cover the head like that.

Thanks for checking out my sketchbook.

Frak frak frak! Love your gestures! Loose Remember to keep it in mind when painting too, don't be afraid to get messy.

what i really want to do in both my painting and drawing is make more well thought out strokes and stuff. i gots a ways to go but. yeah. derp.

One thing that might help is using the lasso + gradient tool (color->transparent). Its an easy way to mass in color and value. I think its what gabe uses for some of his earlier stuff in his sb.

yeah, that's actually what i've been doing lately with my life paintings.
the focus for those thunderdomes were on well placed strokes like his instead of shapes and gradients though. I think i'll head for what you suggested the next time i work on figure practices like these.

babs, man you draw a crab with he head of a fly... staring to worry me here

yeah, cheeta's beatifull. but the they put some animation in there that completely misses the mark. I hate that. the beauty i about how those muscles bounce and stretch. the animation doesn't even show you the wave in it's back, the way the bones of the legs will bend in motion let alone the change in shape of the muscles. real shame. prolly too little budget to do something worthwhile *goes off to cry in a corner*.

AAaah. So busy however I should have replied here sooner cause your latest updates have just been pure gold. Love the gestural animal drawings. You capture their beauty and pornographic appeal beatifully. You make my mom proud. Nah but really awesome stuff. Quite inspiring as well I should probably start doing those myself. aah.
