    i'm not in a painting class, but i've wanted a head start so badly. ;_;
    this one's a 4 hour sitting at a workshop around week 5 or 6. so terrible.
    second's a 20 or 30 minute sitting of my little brother this week, got myself some water mixable oils so i had to try them out.

    I love seeing sketchbook pages! And that drapery study is fab!
    I've recently got some oil paints but I haven't dared to touch them yet. I've never tried oils before so I'm a bit lost. What you've done here with monochromes seems like a good place to start though. I might try that, just to get a feel for the medium first.

    hey there. your sketchbook is... amazing. i bow at your feet!
    quick question... I know you're at art center, do they require you to physically mail your portfolio pieces for review? or are digital slides or prints acceptable?
    I was looking at your portfolio pages, and you formatted them very nicely, so it seems like they were just submitted digitally. yes?

    I think they want a physical portfolio to look at, so you might have to mail it. 8D;
    I was lucky enough to only live an hour away from campus--all i needed to do was drop it off and pick it up.

    Let's just say I'm in love with large format scanners.

    A 15 minute from rey bustos' class, and a roughed up 15 minute from the same pose. Let's just say i had a shitty week so far. :| had to let it out by scribbling like a monkey.
