Hey, nice improvement. You seem to have a good balance of studies and imaginative stuff. Keep it up.

this has nice composition, but there is no congruity in the light source and it detracts from the unity of the piece.

Nice stuff man, Really dig your Teen Challenge entry.
Cool life drawings as well, but watch the proportions on the standing figure.

Good stuff as always, shadings really coming along nicely:-)

    matt,

    love the warrior speed,

and the perspective watercolor is awesome!but i might add some cast shadows from the building onto the ground and maybe darken it to separate it from the ground

    keep it up!

My main focus right now is anatomy and line quality in values.
Doing a lot of Bridgman. I got that portfolio thing coming up too.

I'd redo the anatomy study of the arm completely in the post above the most recent. The upper arm muscles need to be reworked qutie a bit - and the skeletal forearm, I can't even tell how you're trying to portray it being turned.

Aside from that, though, I have noticed an improvement in your basic figure drawings - and you've got a lot of potential with your landscapes! I'd definately try to develop your environments a little bit more, there's a lot of good stuff there.

nice sketchbook, but within the last pic, it was hard to recognize anything, because there isnt any contrast! i would use different values!
