This morning I finally decided to take pictures of some drawings I haven't yet posted here. They range from 2 months old to 1 week old.
the drawings are 3-hours poses and the watercolours are 15 to 30 minutes poses
and the ink drawings are for school

Nice color studies and I really like the last dynasty CHOW. The background looks convincing and the costume very original, I like the look of that Victorian/Meso-American mix (or that's how I see it). I think she should be darker though since the main light source seems to be the windows. Portraits from imagination seem solid though some necks look too thin and maybe slightly too long. Great school stuff too, gotta love the stitches on that tennis ball and good figures, you've gotten far in 3 hours. Keep them coming!

Jesus, your pencils are insanely good! That last page of portraits is beautiful, very subtle stuff. The long poses are also good, but a couple are looking a bit stiff.

If I may comment on two things--one, the necks on your portraits from imagination seem off. I feel that you are making them too long, and the transition to the trapezius seems a bit abrupt or strange on some of them. The other thing is that on the Santa piece, the teeth are too white and in your face. A more subtle take on them, and maybe a few other teeth hinted at would help.

I think it'd be a little more interesting to do something with his right hand. Put his finger resting on the trigger, or something like that. Maybe set the gun on his shoulder, too.

Good shit, though. I'm gonna have to follow this sb better.

Hey man, it looks good, definitely much better than your first sketch, but I think you should still make it a bit more dynamic. Included a quick paint over to show what I mean. (If you don't want the pic in your sketchbook, just tell me, I'll take it down.)

NICE! I like the room, but the foot end of the bed looks a little weird to me. Like the way the way u suggest depth.

EDIT: okay, uh just saw the update Those figures are yummy. But the african lady's shoulders(or spine?) are kind of contorted. I'm sure you already know this but really try analyze the figure and ask yourself why you are drawing the shapes you are drawing and whether they're important enough to be put on paper.

Your observational drawings are amazing! Do more stuff from your head, it seems to be a weak spot
