Eric Lothspeich's Sketchbook
Here is the first image for my sketchbook! It's a character design I did for my college senior project. I'm still figuring out how to do all of the attachment stuff. This was like 250 KB and I can only upload one or two at a time per post, so I guess I'll do another one tomorrow or something. Critiques are welcome!

you just have to upload the files individually, Eric. That's a great character sheet, very professional looking. I like the stylish horns or claws around his mouth. It would of been interesting if you brought some color to the wings just so it wasn't b&w.

Very nice start! Characters are adorable, style is professional, linework is solid. Maybe the shading is a bit too smooth but that's just nitpicking. Can't wait to see some updates, man! And just as Dannelf - I'd love to see some real life studies too.

More from Honey Hazard
I'll try to get some figure studies up. I've been working on bee anatomy all semester and forgot what people look like But i should be able to get back into it all in 2 weeks after finals and graduation.

I'm trying this new thing where I focus on the overall image instead of individual body parts. Duh, Eric. I'm also trying to improve my weakness…faces. Hands are next. I'm comin for you hands! This image is from The Nude Figure: A Visual Reference for the Artist by Mark Smith. Great book. Highly recommended. More to come soon!
