I have a lot of favs here, the amount of awesome art in these threads is simply breathtaking, I loved the pics by Ragnar-X, OYO!, fvallejo, Helltaxi and John_Bivens... but the one that really takes the cake for me is 0kelvin. Just give that man the price already. Not only a super bold style decision, but also a super fun, interesting to look at picture all the way. I take my hat off sir!
congratulations everyone, really amazing work in here.
fvallejo - lovely piece, definitely one of my favs

Great work everyone!
Amazing. I must have been in here a dozen times trying to digest it all.
It seems unfair to single out individual pieces when there's so much good stuff on display, so well done to all who submitted. Plus a huge thanks to Fvallejo for producing my favourite piece of the entire first round and kicking my ass so comprehensively.
Congrads to GROUP 42 for some sweet picks, sorry I couldn't run with you guys, my dad had his surgery the week of that much need extension. Vyle, I wish I could have given you a run for your money, maybe next next time the stars are aligned and we are meant to duel - Best of luck guys and gals, you had some intriguing interpretations.
the amount of talent on this site is at the same time humbling and incredibly exciting. Honestly, This whole Last Man thing is one of the best things the internet has ever been used for.
Ragnar X's peice actually made me burst out laughing.
There are some pretty insightful and powerful ones in this round 1 ! I'm thorougly impressed!
0Kelvin.. Thank you.. THANK YOU!
Ouch.. a few matches down there's another picture of a girl wrapped up in tentacles.... painted much better than mine, lol.

Here are a few comments for the pieces that stood out for me in this thread. I'd have loved to be able to comment on all of them but alas, there are only so many hours in a day.
entroid - Haha, love it!
James Kei - Great designs and a funny concept.
nonie - I'm not sure where the Underneath It All theme ties in, but I do like the image quite a bit.
RagnarX - Nice concept and well executed. Very funny.
Mike Dutton - I like this one a lot.
HellTaxi - You pulled this picture off really well. The story is well told, and the cracked mirror is a nice touch.
Summer Pudding - Great work as always.
emily g - It seems a lot of people did the water reflection thing, but yours is by far my favourite.
fvallejo - Nice! Super-stylish!
Matt Dixon - Aw man, soooooo cool. I love this, it's definitely one of my favourites.
texahol - Nice work man. You're making a ton of progress!
PoshSpice - Your stuff is always wonderful. The little cover details are just perfect, I can just imagine finding that book at a garage sale or flea market.
Zephyri - Great work.
Jason Chan - Fantastic.
Dirty C - Haha, oh man...
sve - Really nice work. Very adorable.
steak-tron - Very cool! I love the vac-u-formed effect.
grey - Well done!
octopus_interphone - I really like your entry.
mysticaldonkey1 - I love that guy's face. "SURPRISE!"
Tell me my mistakes buddy, if you want to help me..
That's very nice of you but I see so many mistakes in mine and I suspect there are many more.
I finally on the second day got the humor of yours... I'm slow and I'm not a games lover. but I got it finally . hehe pirates' treasure chest is so close to the core of Earth, to the hell, subways don't go there... no hope.
I wonder what city is exactly on the opposite side of the Earth to Eskimo's land. My daughter said it is Tokyo... but I don't know .probably South Pole . I want to go visit South Pole then .
Earth in your vision is different in thickness in some parts than another.... hahahah.
I like the zombies riding ants... wow those ants... Yeah, insects survived us all.
As I said you before... great sense of humor in your art work. it will survive us all together with insects .
I like Yin and yang in the center of the whole things running in circles around nuclear energy...
thanks for the nod 0kelvin - I'm psyched to be part of LMS this time around, great showing from everyone
a visual feast
Who you gonna believe, me or your lyin' eyes? - Chico Marx
These are amazing pieces!
Thanks to everyone for the kind words. My avatar is now fat and sweaty in tribute to your fantastic taste.
Like I told Chanman, I didn't realise we were in the same match till the day it was due - which is why the girl turned asian all of a sudden haha
Love 0kelvin's piece, and man this was just a stunning round of entries. Congrats to all!
Awesome work everyone! I was very impressed and inspired.
Okelvin = Pure genius!
Very good pieces throughout. However, one would hope that in a competition like this the playing field would be more even. By even
I mean equal sizes and/or dimensions. What I notice is that smaller rendered works to be displayed on the pages get overshadowed simply by the larger seemingly so uncompressed pieces. In a fair world we are all looked at equally to see who is very much different. this competition does not seem to exemplify this and in general makes the competition useless in determining who is.
I truly hope the judging is not being done by just looking at these threads...
