I got a feelong the next update is like a dormant volcano staying low key til finally, it explodes so enormously it engulfs the world in the dark ashy shadow of danielC's wrath of colossal art. ....At least, I hope so.

You've got something good going my friend, I love the experiments, this stuff's fantastic. Really sweet compositions on the little thumbs, I love those things. Very creatively rich work. I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment.

Update or I'm going to drive down there and break your legs, take your moleskine, and post updates in here myself. I work in Tempe now so it's just a short drive over there.

I'm also holding your sketchbook hostage.

Hey dan, was fun talking to you awhile ago, sorry it was so short.... haven't been online much as of late. I second what zac said... all of us should get together sometime.... I know trashy is down in Tuscon and wants to come up and get together. Let me know when your free sometime... the weekdays suck for me but weekends are good. Have a good one!

I saw that you said that you cant see yourself next to pros?
Ive heard that false self-consciousness, is as bad as bragging.

And I do believe you can be compared to a pro.

Incessant self-deprecation is bad, yep, but Dan is right in that he needs to improve a few things before he really reaches "pro". Inasmuch as that's mostly a token title in any other sense than literally having a job.

    Sweet updates!

I know you must get this allot, but could you do a little tut on how you do those pencil renderings? I can't seem to get a solid grasp on that stuff. Sorry if I'm whining hehe.

I like that last one, it's kind of disturbing

Oh wow finally an update, it's been so long.
but heck it's still as good as before, and even better. That grizzly bear combined with a zombie is amazing. And the first guy on the 2 sets of dudes it better when there's more black. It gives a special burned feel. And wow on the inked faces, chapeau^^

The update everyone's been waiting for. The ink faces, characters, sketches, and new painting, all look super sick.

I really love the heads pages.. totally rad..

And the last one reminds me a lot of Juan Gimenez
