That collection of pics from post #1448 is really lovely -- In particular, I'm taken by the 1st and 2nd pieces. The first for its color and lighting, and the second for the overall sense of the articulated cyber-person.

You have too damn many pages in your book, by the way. My computer and connection are just not fast enough to make going through the whole thing especially appealing (although there is some real desire to do so), but I look forward to future postings.

kool wierd anatomy and lighting going on, the one on the far right has a glow hole (correct term?) pretty much running in tangent with his arm though, makes that area a little more confusing than it could be.

Nice work Dan! The guy on the far right - he either has two right hands or the one is twisted around too much. Other than that NIIIIICE

The only things that put me off with that character are the legs, they seem too long and the front trouser leg seems stiff. The rendering is amazing and the design details are really cool!

Man, I haven't looked through here in ages! I've been missing out.

Really great updates, went back several pages to see what's been up. Page 57 had some particularly cool sketches going on.

Gonna subscribe (I thought I did?) and make sure I check back in more often!

Awesome new work man. I think on that last one her back should be arched back more, because shes stepping forward and doesn't have the right balance to keep that pose. She needs the right counter balance at the moment. Not sure if I explained that well. Awesome work though man!

i feel like a real dick critting in here man, but i feel like this last one doesn't convince me too much :/ she looks a bit too tall, the pose of her legs make 'em appear a bit stiff and "barbie" like, and those shoulders (shoulderguard not couting) seem a bit too broad too me (and maybe her waist is a bit too thin). And the sword (?) on her back looks a bit wonky)
I dunno what you were aiming for regarding attitude and body type, but i'm not very convinced.

still feeling like a dick :/
still wishing i was a s good as you too

    ciao!

Original character and creature design and amazing use of subdued colours and ps. Legs and arms on last pic look rather strange though. The upper thighs could be bigger and show more muscle and the arms look really stiff.

    Cheers

That last update is looking pretty cool, although it is kinda making me think it is a transvestite with a very convincing boob job, more than a man. The sword seems a bit unwieldy too, I mean it seems impossible to take that out of is sheath. Still, the details are killer, and those deamons are purdy cool. though they seem to be loosing some of that shwang when you close to finish. You tend to render so well that you seem to forget about the stances. The right one seems kinda wierd, stance like, anyways, and the middle looks like he just had a lobotomy, the way he is just standing there, the left one, on the other hand looks good. He is semi dynamic, while showing of the whole costume, and he is also very believable.

Just observations though, if I am wrong, I am wrong

Awesomeness in here man, I really enjoy browsing through it. Those demons you did are pretty neat, though I agree with Mischeviouslittleelf about the stances and rendering. You seem to have so much fun rendering them that some of the core ideas and poses get lost (then again, that's one of the hardest things to achieve I've always thought, to keep the spirit and dynamics of the very first sketch through to the final render ). Might pay off to spend a little more time in the very first phases to nail the poses before going all out on the rendering.

    Anyway, cool stuff

I'm going to poop poop on your face if you keep calling your work poop.

Those creatures with the glowy purple stuff remind me of some of Kekai Kotaki's work.

i agree with Mischeviouslittleelf, she looks like a transvestite for 2 things, one is her forehead, is to large and the other are her hips, the width must be the "same" of the shoulders, anyway, keep working dude. cheers!
