    Environment Concepts

Here are some recent personal environment concepts i have been trying out despite my busy work schedule..

    Day After Tomorrow:

Yes, the title sounds too familiar to many. This is one work that i have always visioned but only able to achieve it technically recently. I love epics and has always been in awe after feeling the sense of scale in works like akira, day after tomorrow, cloverfield etc.
The concept isn't the most original, its about a city being invaded and destroyed by a higher being of more advanced technology

    Castle of doom:

Here's a piece of personal concept art i did after getting some inspiration looking at trailers od DMC4.. was going for the gritty dark gothic devil may cry look.. would leave it at this level of looseness for now...

    By The Seas:

Yet another sci-fi idea i had.. was guessing that sea level will rise and cities will become like individual isolated islands surrounded by sea.. by then mankind would have already sucessfully solve the fuel crisis by tapping right into the very core of earth..

and here are some speedpaints i have done since i've relocated to Tokyo. Very inspiring city. Very sketchy 15-30 minutes less the last one which took around 2 hours. Hope you like it.

love your work Krypt! Really hit a homerun with the sense of scale!

just one thing...enhance depth of field by desaturating the backgrounds a little more for a better ''read''. For example, the red of your ships is as vivid as the building flags and the red dots far out in the distance...
your castle of doom is the best ''read''..

    other than that..topnotch!

    Call it, FRIENDO!

    Beautiful paintings.
Love the looseness, which is usually not found on these subject matters.

I do agree with BBQ. Aside from that, it's dirty, it's gritty and emotional. I like it! Keep pushing it!
