I'm looking for a skilled traditional style comic book artist (and colorist) to work with me on an 8 page comic book being submitted to a competition.
When the 8 pages are done I'm going to pay to have 10 copies professionally printed in comic book style format and I'll send you 5 of those prints.
Besides that, if the competition is won, I would like to continue working with this artist to proceed with the rest of the issues. You will be paid a set amount (determined by the publisher) for each 8-paged issue per month if the first issue wins the competition (This is the reward for winning the competition).
Let me know if you're interested and send some samples of your work.
I'll send more details to the potential artist interested in this opportunity.
i probably wont be interested in this myself, due to other work commitments and basicly no experience with comic book side of things myself. But i was just curious, would you be writing up some sort of contract with the chosen artist, and who has the actual copyrights at the end?.
