Hey Lakka, I can't really comment on the digital art you do as I've never actually worked a tablet before, well I can comment it but can't give you C/C.. it really does look cool tho, especially some of the characters you did..
what I like most are your acrylic paintings, especially post #206.., it looks very promising, I'll keep an eye on this thread and wish you the best of luck with your art, have fun
Hey man i love your stuff i just have one crit. Everything that ive seen looks like you didn't finish it if you know what i mean. A little rough around the edges i suppose, the pieces just feel incomplete. I hope you don't take that the wrong way its just that i would love to see what you can really do "]
Lakka, more great loose paints especially the environments you have really gotten down some great concepts. Anyway you use painter right? corel painter that is. Judging from your paints I would say that you are a painter, so I challenge you sir to do some line work and tone on photoshop. If you have used photoshop for any of your work here I am shocked ha ha. Anyway I think you need to define your objects with either darkening your tones and using sharper highlights or use some line work to constrain your color. This is just my opinion though, I can't paint for poo, I just like drawing. That would explain why I don't like fine art. For me shapes need to be either defined or contained. Keep up the good work.
New School - I get what you mean, I have a serious problem with this issue, I'm not sure if I just don't have it in me to finish images, or is it just some mental thing that I lose iterest and roll on to the next one without realizing what moreI could have done. :-\
remmy - Hey again! Nice challenge, I'll try to do some linedrawings, I have actually been using a pen instead of a pencil for my bus sketches lately, so this is good timing from you!
This one is wierd, drew it while waiting for a friend
