Mr Jeffs is a sweet old man. Spends all his time at the local pub, though he used to work in construction. Now it seems as though he's loosing his mind. Last week he said something about being abducted by aliens. Grabbed him after last orders. Did all kinds of stuff to him, apparently. Experiments. Enhancements. Who'd want to experiment on Mr Jeffs, with kidneys and a liver like that?

He was always doing tricks (for the ladies), he could pull off some neat stuff with his dentures, but last night I'd sware I saw... no, it must have been been the booze.

    Required;
    * Mr Jeffs, with and without 'enhancements' revealed.
    * Mr Jeffs is quite a character. Draw a set of expression/ pose sheets with him showing his new 'trick'.

Jölföðr (Yule-father) and Jölnir (Yule) are names of Odin. Some think Odin was the original "Alf" or gift-giving "Elf" ( Julesvenn in Denmark, Jultomten in Sweden, and Julenissen in Norway). Before Santa Claus was popularised he was seen as tall and lean, wearing a dark cloak, as riding a white horse, The elder "Yule Elf" was a bit stern also, and could be quite a terrifying figure, especially to rude or ill-willed folk.

Thought it might be a good seasonal pick.
i think i replied wrong I added this the other day,

Seeing as David Tennant is stepping down as Dr Who, how about a redesign of the Doctor?

Oh I like that idea Posh. Ikuru's as well.

And of course, with the birth of the artist came the inevitable afterbirth - the critic.

Don't know if this qualifies or if it's been suggested before, but...

Death. The classic robed figure with the scythe seems to be a bit out-dated. Curious what it would look like if some work was done to bring it into the current era, but with the same sense of doom...

I am not sure if this one has been laid out yet. But Sweeney Todd the Bloody Barber. I loved the movie with Johnny Depp.
Really any villain from the 18th century England would be cool. Maybe a female version of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Lizzy Borden would be an awesome one to do. It could be done humorously or seriously.
oooOoooo or A black widow.... A woman who goes about preying on men....not the bug, Or you could do a SciFi of the spider that transforms into the woman. That would be neat.

The Mother Nature.......she can have any form you imagine.....a tree......a ghost....a flower......a women.......or she can just be a splash of water.......it depends on how you vision the nature guard......How does she protect the nature?.......What does she has for doing it? ......How does she looks like?
She can be patient mother waiting for the humanity to see the truth for themselves.....or........She can have a tempestuous mood......punishing the humanity....

"If a man could pass through Paradise in a dream, and have a flower presented to him as a pledge that his soul had really been there, and if he found that flower in his hand when he awake - Aye, what then? "

The princess Vasilisa Prekrasnaya (Vasilisa the Beautiful) or Vasilisa the Wise is a stock character in Russian fairy tales, including The Frog Tsarevna and Vasilissa the Beautiful. The character often rises in status from a peasant girl to the wife of a prince or is a princess who marries the hero after helping him to accomplish difficult tasks. Unlike other fairy tale heroines who wait to be rescued, Vasilisa often accomplishes a series of tasks that help her defeat the villain of the story.

Koschei is an evil person of ugly senile appearance, menacing principally young women. Koschei is also known as Koschei the Immortal or Koschei the Deathless. The spelling in Slavic languages suggests that his name may be derived from "kost" (kość=bone); thus suggesting a skeleton-like appearance.

Koschei cannot be killed by conventional means targeting his body. His soul is hidden separate from his body inside a needle, which is in an egg, which is in a duck, which is in a hare, which is in an iron chest, which is buried under a green oak tree, which is on the island of Buyan, in the ocean. As long as his soul is safe, he cannot die. If the chest is dug up and opened, the hare will bolt away. If it is killed, the duck will emerge and try to fly off. Anyone possessing the egg has Koschei in their power. He begins to weaken, becomes sick and immediately loses the use of his magic. If the egg is tossed about, he likewise is flung around against his will. If the egg is broken (in some tales this must be done by specifically breaking it against Koschei's forehead), Koschei will die.

Let's see don't post much. But I suggest the 12th Doctor from Doctor Who.

Geeky topic yes I know, but hey there's an 11th one coming up soon with Tennant retiring. That and the Doctor provides a hell lot of variation for designs, considering his variety of appearances over the years. You can make him a byronic noble, or make him grim and gritty, or you can go for the child friendly one with a rainbow scarf and vegetable.

For those who don't know who he is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_(Doctor_Who)

Hamlet, in the "alas poor Yorick" scene, but not necessarily as a human.

I was looking at a picture of a creature with four eyes and wondering what its skull would look like, and I imagined it holding a skull of one of its own kind, and then I thought, "haw! Alas poor Yorick!"

    Oof. I need a nap.

I was once on the receiving end of a critique so savagely nasty, I marched straight out of class to the office and changed my major (sketchbook).

How about a chow where you have to paint a character according to a song/one line from some specific song? (the one who is leading a chow defines which song will it be)

    YES. YES. DO IT. NOW.

But I also really dig the Koschei suggestion as well, since I actually knew who he was.

A Lost World. Imagine the world after a Great War, the greatest war of all time in our planet earth.
Some time after the destruction our once beautifull home is now a pile of trash run by a grey sky and barely anything is left of use around it.
There is a man in there that finds along his path "souveniers" of the past, he is a primitive, scared, poor man.
He gave a first look at those memories, he had only heard about the past from his grandfather, all the wonderfull things he was told seemed like lies to this poor defenceless man. Surprise and fear ran throug his veins for the first moments then a tremendous curiosity to know more about what he was just observing. He finds more and more clues that we can stick together to define the unknown place that this man is in.

Its simple but there is alot to think of in this, the historical junk this man is looking at can be anything, a poster, advertising, maybe he is in a train station, mall, etc. the possibilities are endless it just has to be adapted to the current situation of his world.

Ill be sure to make up some more ideas.

We already did a tank-girl-esque round just a little while ago, so probably won't do tank girl herself any time soon.

    Even though i lurve her.

    everybody loves pirates

I'm pretty sure there are lots of requests for pirate stuff, but that's because pirates are f#%king dope. I'm pretty sure some of these are cliche, but classic, so please give'm all some consideration.

Ninja Pirates: exploiting the sanctioned ports of Asia they are a mixed pack of strays with no country to call their own, only the pacific ocean.

Star Pirates: exploiting the sanctioned ports of Orions Belt they are a mixed pack of strays with no planet to call their own, only the vast nothing.

Cloud Pirates: exploiting sanctioned ports across the globe they are a mixed pack of strays with no country to call their own, only the sky.

Flood Pirates: exploiting the flooded state of Florida, they are a mixed pack of strays with no home to call their own, only the salty marsh.

Ice Pirates: exploiting the oil rich ports surrounding the north pole they are a mixed pack of strays with no country to call their own, only the ice shelves.

    I could do this forever.

People may have suggested things similar to these already but...

The Dreamthief: walks in dreams, taking those of value for sale in the midnight market.

Herr Oberfuherer Ludvig Geheim: head of Nazi occult research in 1938. He is aided in his research by his unamed 'igor-like' construct assistant. Together they are researching the secrets of diabolism.

Apollyon: the Angel who guards the gateway to (and more importantly from) hell. He is tired by his long and lonely vigil. He is troubled too, as an angel he is deeply compassionate but God has forbidden him to give succor to the damned souls that plead with him through the gate.
