it's scary if you check your folders and see those unfamiliar paintings, and after a while of observation you notice "uh right... i have painted that... once A_A"

hi, really nice sketcbook in here, big amount of work, you make really nice digital colors studies,
the pencils are nice but could be improve to me, such as feets and hands, maybe you could try to suggest sometimes
rather than putting all the details and block your drawing in strong contour lines as you do, just a suggestion, keep on sharing

TTX: nope, a Einmachalge! :D it's the ultimate plant for algi because he mentioned that he didn't really have a green thumb.

bouroune: thanks a lot! i have to agree ... pencil isn't my strongest medium. i still have trouble to find a nice way to put those figures down on paper; i try to experiment a bit more every now and then, even if it's not quite visible. so much more to learn! :D but thanks for your suggestion, i'll try to don't outline everyhing next time. ^^

Kerah: aww, you're just too kind! i don't really know what to say ... thank you! <3

sooo uhm... finally a life sign from me.
well, it's no secret anymore, i kinda lost my passion for drawing & painting personal pieces. which i do find quite sad myself.
i think the main reason for this phenomenon is, that i have quite a real high standard for the look of art pieces. just that i can't create anything impressive and nice myself.
so i finally (!) came to the conclusion that i have to start all over again, with basics and stuff.
and this time serious, not like in the beginning of this SB.
    i know that it will be a lot more fun to draw and paint stuff when i really understand and know how to do it. i just hope that i can keep track on it. *_*;

    well, blablabla.

this is my best friend from life while watching tv, hihi. :D
and two studies, 1. from a photo, 2. from life. *_*

    skull from life

aaand my second work with super sculpey + steps. (first one was a little skull) i'm a bit afraid to bake it, because i'm sure it will crack here and there. xD
i'm not really satisfied with the mouth ... and the angry look, which was all not planed. ° ^ ° and the face itself is also too wide. :I
but i can't really fix it because i made the aluminum foil to big. ah well. i think it turned out quite ok for one of my first sculptures. ^^
    (didn't really count time, but i'm sure it took like 24 h :'D )
    Attachment 1497645

so, that's it. now back to basics! xD
