Why are you named what your named?
I thought it might be interesting to see why people named themselves what they are. Is there any particular reason you are named what you are? did you just name yourself something random at the time? is there any meaning behind it?
Mine personally is that i started going to art school and decided to chase an art career as a concept artist, found out that i was really passionate about my field, and was going to name myself Wes.W (my real life name) but that was taken so i tried a few other names and settled on artzealot.
At the time i was getting really into the whole digital art scene i never knew existed. i had just found conceptart.org, just bought the skillful huntsman book and realised how much kick ass video game art was out there, and wanted to become really really good. So that's where artzealot comes from, i had artistic zeal at the time i joined conceptart.org (still do) and thats where the name comes from.
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

Just use the old one, it's less annoying.
EDIT: Oh wait, that link leads to the second one I've seen. So is this the 13,442,006th thread on this? I wish I was around since the dawn of CA.

Threads die out, or just get buried in the avalanche of new I NEED A NEW COMPUTAAAH and 'hey is my title interesting, or what? posts, let the thread live! ... just refer back to the first thread if you want to know about my name

My name's just short for my real name. People accuse me of ripping it off Final Fantasy but whatever.

Rhynome, ah, yes.
The amount of times people have thought it's a pokemon. Anyway, I like fiddly bits in English, and one of the most fiddly words is Rhyme, I just like the way it looks. However, I couldn't call myself Rhyme as I'd probably get sued by 'Marvel' for copyright of some obscure comic book villain The Rhymer!; oh, and it'd be silly.
So in my head I went through a few sounds, you know... the sort of thing you do when you're trying to find a word you can't quit remember, and placed them at different places in the word:
no... Rhynome... aaah.
And there we have it.

Well then, let's continue, shall we?
Me = Jessica (Jessi for short)
To be full of beans = stubborn ass
Also... When being punished at a small age, I stamped my food a refused said punishment because "I a human being!" and "being" came out "bean." I got out of it for humor factor, and ever after... JessiBean.

Well, I really liked the name of the weapons in Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (the first one on PS1).. a set of axes called Havoc & Malice. Had a brilliant ring to it, so I went for something similar.. Twisted & Tainted

I am half Cherokee and my parents like annoying puns that are less clever each time you hear them, hence the name "tomwaits4noman",
I am a bit rusty on the English translation "think it means hunts buffalo real good".
