Edit: Scroll Down to the more recent stuff. The first couple pictures are from 2-3 years ago. The difference will be obvious. : P
Hm...so I guess I'll get a sketchbook started. As a start I'll say something about myself. My name is Bobby and I am currently a Freshman studying art at Maryland Institute College Art and my major will be in illustration. Not sure where I'll be going within that major though. Right now I'm doing landscape and anatomy studies and I'll be posting those up later on. Thanks to all who check out my sb, and all comments are welcomed (even the harshest of harsh critiques can't bring me down so say what's on yer mind.) This first post consist of work from fall and some spring semester. I use a range of mediums but I mostly enjoy ink and oil paint. I'm trying to get into digital painting but it has been a task, and i still suck at it lol. But anyway...I'll shut up. Check out my stuff.

Some more work..
I'm going to start a series of environment paintings while the weather is nice and warm here. I like to take small sticks etc. and try to make mini environments and blow up the scale to make them seem like life size landscapes. here's the first.
Since this is part of my growth I guess I should upload this here as well.
These are some figure studies I have done with a model present and a few looking at work by my favorite painter Caravaggio.
So it's been awhile...and by awhile I mean 3 years since I've logged into ConceptArt.org. New Year, new attitude, time to upload some new art. Here we go!
So during my hiatus I continued in art school, The Maryland Institute of Art, and found a love for drawing and sculpture that I never had before. I've always had a "thing" for hard manual labor, there was just something satisfying about it to me, and the act of welding and fabricating metal felt like the perfect thing. Even my drawing process, which is just me basically standing over sheets of paper and going at them with random ideas or sketches as I like to call them for future metal sculptures or installations. Using graphite powder, and the occasional charcoal stick for fine details, I like to do things rapidly and with much precision, but I don't shun any mistakes, very seldom will I use an eraser unless it's necessary.
Anyway, hopefully I'll REMAIN active from this point on, and share with this community all the advice and help I can offer, and I hope that the same will be returned. I'm open to all critique, all comments. Go at it Guys!
Here is a small sample of a few projects I've done in the very recent past. If you would like to see more check out my website at www.subverse-vision.com
