Eyeball in my tv, very strange yet cool occurence
I didn't want to put this in the photography section, because it's not me trying to take a piece of art, its me just photographing this occurence.
Basically i turn on the tv, and there is this eyeball hissing and cracking at me (static-like noise). I found it looked extremely cool, so i took photos of it, and then turned off the tv and went to do something else.
Hope you guys find it looks cool as much as i do.

Is your house built on an indian burial ground?

i doubt it, its in beaconsfield, montreal, in quebec Canada.
beaconsfield isnt a very native spot. my street is right next to the snt lawrence river, allthough my particular house isnt a river side house.
why do you ask?
the noises the eyeball made were veru unsettling

Wow, thats kinda creepy but...sure your friends aren't just playing something on you?

I'm 17, i live with my parents currently haha. so thats an impossibility.
I kinda see this is a personification of all the awful luck iv been having the past few months that involve one blow after the next. Everything went from being all around great to being all around awful, and this eye occurance reminds me off this, and puts an image to my current bad luck.
but no worries, it will pass.

You have to drop the ring in the fires of Mt. Doom in order to get rid of it.

April 11th, 2008 #16

Small world, i wouldn't have expected anyone to know what beaconsfield is at ca.org.
But hey when i'm downtown, i feel strange since people start looking very very weird at times. Beaconsfield is so normal compared to that haha

We should record the sound and make it the next "draw a creature from this sound" for the next C.O.W.
April 11th, 2008 #19
i took a video of it with my phone, im not sure if you can hear the sounds that well or not.
saturns gate, its not a standby, the eye is gone at this point, it was there only for that day. it wasn't even the dvd channel so it wasnt a pasused movie either

Dude, How can you be so calm about this? Thats freakin' creepy!
April 12th, 2008 #29
Reminds me of that creepy video I saw on Youtube with the floating heads. Wish I could find the link to that video and also of the one of some guy hacking onto TV network wearing a creepy mask and talking about some random gibberish taht made no sense. That's probably what this is, some incredibly bored genius who hacked onto the local network and put up footage of someone's eyeball. Could explain the static noise.

it just comes down to the fact that i largely try to feel neutral about things that happen to me haha.
Rikki: ya that is a possiblity. another one is that the tv station was playing some sort of movie or commercial and there was a closeup of an eye and the tv chanel kinda crashed at the best time physicaly possible. allthough there is a LOT of inprobable factors here. first of all there arent many shows or commercials that have such intense eyeball closeups, and if they do they dont last long, and the chances of the stattion freezing at THAT exact moment are very slim.
if it was a hacker, then there would be news articles about it, and an apology.
in terms of un-scientific and therefore irrelevent explanations, this could just be a personification of my recent awful luck. but i dont believe much in such things, but the system of the cosmos can function any way it wants without requiring my belief in it. so me not believing in anything unsientific doesn't lower the chances of this being something that doesnt have to do with technical difficulties.
