    painter x templates?

    I was looking at artrage 2 and see that they have stencil templates, is there something like that in painter x.1 ??

    Hi bs,

    Not sure how the ArtRage templates are used, but we can work the way we would using a traditional media stencil by using selections or Layer Masks, or both.

    Maybe this will help, or at least give you some ideas to get started:

    It took me a while to find it, but I wrote some instructions for using a scanned stencil in Corel Painter and posted them in this thread at Painter Talk:

    Using A Scanned Stencil As A Mask, (or use any other high-contrast black and white image as a Mask)
