My name is Dayanna but I go by cAstAwAyLOVER. I'm fairly new here at CA but I've been kinda lurking here and there and I love everyones work here. This site has wonderful artists and inspiring work.
At first I was really scared to post my stuff anywhere but as time went by I realized that I can't be scared, so that is one of the main reasons why I'm starting a sketchbook now.
I will be working hard on improving my work and learning new techniques and exploring new challenges. I will probably be posting here independent sketches that I do, but I might also post sketches done for classes or rough drafts. It will be great if I can hear good constructive criticism, it is very welcomed.
I will be posting something I just doodled today. I was kind of experimenting with photoshop and trying to do some gesture work before I try to do my character that I want to tackle. I've never painted digitally before, I've always done all my work on traditional Media.
Nice to see you started a sb, but if you want really much crit. Go scan in as much of your work as you can don't be shy that way we'll be able to help you more and see what you need to improve on.
So far first drawing is ok a couple of sketchy lines but it's just a doodle right so post more so we can see what you got
yeah, so true Lilnebo. I've just been so busy lately, not a good thing..but I will hopefully be posting more stuff here from now on..
what im posting now is actually some quick sketches of learning how to do feet and hands without any reference material.
Well, I really need to start updating more often. Ecckk!! I feel so bad for not doing so but I've been extremely busy with school and there is only 2 weeks left and is going to be killer. But once is over I'll be updating this SB with a lot of work. I'm also thinking of coming up with a schedule of all the things I want to study up on during the summer, its a lot.
Anyways, this is just a quick Sketch I did to clear up my mind. It was done at 6am, in one of my many all-nighters..more to come.
