beautiful painting, moods, dynamic lines and a happy vibe allover your work.

Maybe it needs a bit more of identity as in, a particular uniqueness of style.
You have got a great technique and it seems you could now focus on the expression too.

    Love it all.

    Cheers

    Mario

    forgeman - thanks a lot.
agelaos - thank you! I've never done any animation...always been fascinated by it, buy I don't think I'd have the patience...
The Whistler - thank you very much.
    kidult - thanks
marioucci - thank you. Not sure what you mean by "focus on expression"...do you mean characters' experssions, or like "express myself in my painting" sort of thing?
Interceptor - thank you! I really like your avatar
D@niel - thanks man. Always a pleasure having you here!

Some ideas for "Intergalactic Mobster" for the challenge in my blog. Apparently it's pretty hard to convey "mobster" without an expression and a pose and without leaning on the usual cliche outfits.

Here's the made guy. Maybe I'll finish him more properly at some point, right now I just had to make the deadline.

Great sketchbook! My favorite is probably the cats of the apocalypse from the last page. And the apple-themed superheroine! No crits for now.

Wow, nice! Love your creatures, but the last one in particular just looks amazing. How do you get your paintings from greyscale to colour?

You got a really great imagination. You could work on animation movies, your style is ideal for this...
You characters are awesome, and when you try to do more "serious" and savage things they´re working perfectly too. greetings for your flexible style.

Man Made God - thank you very much. In this piece in particular I followed Matt Dixon's tutorial from 3DTotal's website. In short, I set the black-and-white sketch to Multiply, lowered the opacity a little and just blocked in color in a layer underneath. when I had my basic darks I flattened it and started rendering, going from dark to light, from big strokes to small details. Check out the tutorial, it's excellent reading.
Ricardo Robles - thanks man, that's really great to hear. I do hope to work in the talkies business one day =)
algenpfleger - thank you very much!
young paddy1 - you mean Pat? Definitely possible, I learned and still learning a hell of a lot from him. Thank you!
