Nice sketchbook Do I see some influence by Massive Black tutorials? (dark girls with red banners etc..)..
here's my DA account. S
and here's my sketchbook! check me out if you like concepts of soldiers and warriors of all sorts.
I'm wondering what medium was used to create the piece in post #9. Is that watercolor or digital? And if it was digital what program did you use? I'm curious, it's pretty :3
I like your sonja, really pretty painting style, and love this one too http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1216428462
just looked to other replyes and it seems that it's not just me who like it

algenpfleger thanks! still got a loooong way though
shou' thank you, and I hope we will
Merlkir indeed. Gotta learn from the best, you know? xD
Namunamu Made the drawing using an HB pencil, scanned it, colored it in photoshop, and used a fancy watercolor texture. You can get the same effect in Painter though, I heard.
c@s thank you! haha, I noted it too~ Every second post or so mentions that piece it seems xD
Don't like this one any longer =(
This sketchbook is full of beatiful ladies :p
Nice variety of styles, such as that last one.
Really nice, what medium was your last post done in?
Just dropping in from Quinn's thread. Wow glad to be here, you're drawing is sooo nice to look at, I don't have enough time usually to take in all the details. Overall this is a very inspirational thread, I'd like to see some messy stuff here though...even your sketches are clean.
Hi Eerin, you have an excellent SB here. Love this latest painting, very nice colors and texture.
Keep at it!
Really love the paint style you have going. It really shows form through colors. Beautiful Red Sonja (can't believe I did not knw there was a Red Sonja CHOW).
I like this one best though.
staticpen drew it first with an HB pencil, scanned it, colored it in photoshop, and used a fancy watercolor texture. And thank you
Lakka you flatter me
Trashy thank you~
algenpfleger thanks, and so are your stuff
Farsh Photoshop 7.0 =)
cout<mecha hope this update adheres to some messiness you'd like to see thank you!
Quinn Simoes I will, and thanks
Eon thank you for the kind words~ I might finish that one one day
I was finally ably to go figure drawing! It's been a loooong while since I've had the ability to attend another open figure session I love how relaxing the experience always is.
*edit* attachments didn't show up for some reason, so I'm reattaching =S

I think its also time for me to say how great your works are.I love your red sonja entry.Yor sketchbook is inspiring, keep them up please
Eerin's + Your anatomy is most amazing and I like the graphic design // textures in everything!! So so so great! I lived in Japan for a while and this last piece looks 30/40's and Japanese mixed - if you don't want it, I want it! K
Great work and study, love your patterns, tiger especially.
Splendid figure drawings, and paintings as usual.
Again you've got good proportion and a classic style of figure drawing. I just wish people would pay more attention to the breasts when making drawings. If you look at most drawings these days, even the good ones...the breasts vary in quality from lucky shot to an afterthought.
For many reasons they are the most important part of the drawing.Like them anyways
waaaaaahhhh your pics are so cool!!
you have a very good sense for asthetic stuff!!! and everything looks so well designed!
I REALLY LOOOOOOVE the last japanese-like pic! its so sensitive!
go on posting girl!!!
meh sketchbook http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=134723
first off, thank you very much for your critique! ive actually passed through your sketchbook before, and hahah i have a folder of some saved pictures from the site from other peoples portfolios...like inspirational work you know...draw like them! and hahah i have like 3 of your portfolio pieces in the folder (dont sue)
Anyways i really like the geisha i dont understand why you dont like it! thats the one that caught my attention most, and one of your greek sculpture sketches, because it looks like mine I'm going to apply to the same school aswell although its not one of my first choices...
All the best,
Progressive work: www.paolocogliati.blogspot.com
I like those last studies, the way you bend the lines, pretty cool actually. And the last color piece looks good too, i love how it looks rusted, cool effect.
Well, keep it up! Great works!
staticpen well, I heard it typically costs 10-15ish for around 2 hours. But luckily, I go to one where I only pay $5 for 2 and a half hours. There's no mentoring of any kind involved though, you just sit there and draw the model.
kingkostas aww thank you!
kelly x wow, really?! I've been obsessed with Japanese culture and art during my early high school years, but I've never seen what 30's/40's Japanese art looked like. I wish I lived in Japan for a little while like you!
photosynthesis haha, thank you =)
cout<mecha uh, thanks? you lost me a bit there though. IMO, when you have only 10 minutes or so to put down an entire figure, I hardly think that there's enough time to concentrate on anything, much less the breasts. I think the initial read of the figure is more important I'll keep it in mind though.
algenpfleger it's sad that there's no figure drawing in your area. =( Your stuff is really fantastic though, and posemaniacs among other stuff is always good. But there's no real good substitute for the real substance. Maybe you can try googling for more info in regards to figure drawing that might be around your area? I tried and I was surprised to find a list with TONS of places.
lilou thank you so much lilou and I will
Trashy cheers! and I also need to do a lot more figure drawing to improve. I'm getting rusty having not done it for so long.
5coop haha, no worries! I, too, keep an inspiration folder on my computer! I'm honored to have made yours. Good luck with your portfolio!
Carbono thank you!
I didn't do any art for about four days, embarrassingly. I got caught up by 6 really good books. So here's some sketchy stuff I did prior. Second one is one of my concepts for the Blood Moon Monk in a preliminary color scheme (which I abandoned). And some stuff I drew from the African Art section of the De Young museum. I went to the Chihuly exhibition that's currently on show in there, and it was simply fantastic. The colors are so vivid and dreamy, I doubt anyone won't get inspired.

Really beautiful stuff!
Even unfinished, the monk is really good.I also love the sketchies, and mostly the one with the skull(the one at the right )
