Cool stuff. I'm digging the serpentine figure on the right enormously!
And therein lyes the hurdle. You've got something rather interesting going on on the right and i don't feel the left side is reflecting the same level of design. The figure is kind of stiff and not seeing his feet seems kinda weird.
Also, that snake is bending at a degree that i don't think snakes bend. And that is an odd way to pick an apple. I don't know how much time you have to fenangle things, but if you've got time to fenangle....fenangle that scene on the right.

so.... adam plucked the flower of the johnson-tree? some weird imagery there dude. Also, it seems as though you're having issues breaking your outlines - it's flattening out the figures a LOT. one nifty trick that breaks it all up without changing the painting much is to us the background color as a light outline (faint, but still there) where limbs cross the torso.
