    Candy's studies in ignoring distractions

I apologize in advance for the terrible quality of these images; all images were taken by Photobooth on my iMac and then cropped in Corel Painter Essentials.

These are all from my journal/sketchbook except for the last one, so personal entries have been blotched out. (I've tried maintaining separate journals and sketchbooks, but I'll fall behind if I don't have it all on one page)

They're posted in chronological order, starting from Mar. 3. The first three are photo-reference sketches from Sarah Simblet's Anatomy for the Artist; the next three are sketches from life; and the last is an unfinished charcoal sketch of the building laundry room while I was waiting for my wash cycle to finish.

I should invest in a scanner at some point.

Some classic Loomis studies. I know the proportions are off; I need to spend more time playing with the images.

I have a few more pictures from some classes I've been taking. Again, apologies for the poor picture quality. All pictures posted in chronological order, with the oldest first and the most recent at the very end.
