I don't know if any of you remember but back in the 1990s, there was a Rob Zombie video (or maybe another band) that showed a goth style stop-motion animated feature throughout its entirety.
I don't remember the name of the song and it's in black and white, probably. It can't be Marilyn Manson. It was such a great video that I suspect Voltaire may have had a hand in this or the Brothers Quay and I would recognize that style.
It's not "Living Dead Girl" in black and white but close.
Any help to jumble my memory would be great. I need to try and find it.
could it be Slipknot´s "Wait & Bleed"? There are two versions, one which is the band playing and another stop motion version, I think they call it clay animation or something like that.
You might be onto something. However, I found one from Tool as well. I'm getting one step closer since there was another goth-style clay-mation by a band.
Oh, I totally forgot about Tool´s sober... that´s a great video, in fact, all of tools videos, specially the older ones are worth watching. great stuff.
I think it is their guitarist Adam (I Think) not their drummer Danny Cary that does the videos, If you do some research you can also see him working on some of the jurassic park animals.
it is the Guitarist, Adam Jones is a scupter and did all the sculpting, at least i think, for the Schism, and Sober video's. as well as did the art direction for the Jambi video
as for how they did it.. fuck if i know lol
Tool for life..
Witness the contents of mind, the visions and sounds, the thoughts, as clouds passing through the vast expanse - the sky-like nature of mind. The rootedness of Being is in emptiness, clarity and awareness: unborn, unspoilt, stainlessly pure. ~Alex Grey
