    Long time member... but I havent posted for awhile

    Hello Ive been working on a series of paintings in St. Barthelemy... and was looking for some feedback. By the end of this trip I will have a little over 100... Im down here for a artist residency and it is pretty amazing... but Im sure that there is a lot of new stuff on my webpage to... this is all oil on canvas and some oil on wood.

    The use of light and color, with the correctly placed lines, and the cool water effects gives an almost photorealistic look, yet the pictures also have a simplified, painted look. One thing you can do with a painting that is harder to do with photography is to show exactly what you want to show. These are good.
