    Demon

Hi folks, this is just a recent project of a Demon. Inspiration from warcraft from a sketch by Chris Metzen by the way:

It's a 3d render, all modeling in Silo, sculpting in Zbrush and photoshop for texturing / rendering / post-effects

    Hope you like:

Update: Fixed beard and decreased size of shoulder pads, thanks:

This is great! Colored version loks like something from World of warcraft, just more detailed. Only issue I see is that his arms seem pretty short. Good job!

looks good, hope you dont mind a crit. The beard seems to be one of those fake ones like santa wears in the mall.... it doesn't accurately attach to his face.

    Hope this helps...

It looks like it would be very difficult for him to raise his arms, and if he did, he would stab himself in the side of the head with the spikes on the tops of the skull shoulder-pieces.

your chain mail links are'nt joined together top to bottom, just side to side - if this is deliberate they should be hanging differently - hope that helps?

his pose makes him look a bit static, and it would be ok if his left leg didn't suggest otherwise.
I do agree on the fake beard issue, was the first thing that caught my eye

man you gotta be careful with these armore designs because you can wind up designing them in way that makes your character look imobile, and caged in. With the way he is designed now I wonder if he could even lift his arms high enouph to touch his own face. His beared looks like one of those string latch ons that the mall santas wear. The resoulution of the backround is drasticly different then the main character and it kills the illusion of him sitting with in the suggested space. The feet being cropped off at the bottom makes for an odd compostion. I think htat you can obviously model and have good intention as with your depictions, but I would stongly suggest moving away from the world of war craft big armor big weapons and high contrasty colors aestetic. I think that if you referenced other more naturalistic depictions you would only grow and improve your designs.
