    Unhappy Lost Souls

    Lost Souls

Well just finished up this yesterday... making four more, and now I'm completely stuck and obviously wish to shoot my brains out for beeing so.

<-- feel free to do this if I'm doing this wrong, all n00b here, and I seriously get nothing of this forum...

    Well it's a nice idea.

But there are issues with your figures construction, your color choices and the perspective of things.

The figures head is too large and the ribs and pelvis are too narrow. Spend some more time doing nude female figure studies to really understand how they fit together.

Understand perspective, and take the time to plot out the horizon line and vanishing point. It will make placing things (like the bed, and the stool, and the figure in relation to the ground) alot easier.

Colors desaturate as they go back into space. That is to say, the red of the wall in the back of the room for example, should not be as intense a red as the red of her dress.

Keep drawing, and just try and integrate the principles you learn more and more into your work each time. Rock on Man!

    ...my humble and uneducated opinion.
