Really nice work! Great start. ^_^ Dolfin Lundgren is hilarious! Really digging the concept art of this

    http://conceptart.org/forums/attachm...1&d=1205272373

Really cool. Although I think there's too much detail in the center of the face, around the nose. Mm, but that's just my opinion.

Great start, can't wait to see more!

    Chupacabra - Thanks man!

starzik - Thanks! Yeah you're right, I was just so overly in the mood of detailing when I made that one. I didn't even do thumbnails beforehand.. That lesson learnt!

Here's two new images, one old orc I did just after the other orc head and a fresh 'n hot anime-stylized-old-school-game-robot-character.. What should I say? It was hell of a fun to do - took a little less than 5 hours.

Tigermilk - tackar!! Hon blev färglagd, men fick inte till det riktigt.

I watched Nox's videos and got so incredibly inspired that I made a "quick" sketch before bed.

HyperGiant - Thanks! As requested here's a pencil sketch I did today -- generally not a style I would go for but it's for a small project. I wanna try to be as versatile as possible

    Oranje_Joe - thanks!

Slechtvalk - thanks! the orc is entirely painted in Photoshop without ref or 3d model.

I've been giving a lot of thought to the notion of ideas and visions -- one thing I've noticed is my lack of any sort of style or direction with my art. It's even more apparent when I view this thread that I have no style, if that is a good thing or a bad thing I can't tell. I'm not by any means looking for a style, au contrairé: I would love to adobt to any given style I would want for any given task. Style is just repeated patterns, no? It might also be due to the fact that I haven't used the same approach to any of these illustrations.
Even as a child I remember never having any particular vision, just a thirst to express myself artistically -- I have no obssession, no favorite style, artist or fascination strong enough to pursue it in my art. Writing this I also think I've never wanted to say or draw anything to communicate, I want to evoce emotions. Maybe the best way to do that is to specialize in a style and pursue that? I love creating and I love the process.. /rant

Here's an idea I'm working on. It's pretty ridiculous (tripod guard sentry? yeah) but it looks cool though, wouldn't you say?

    Your digital paintings are great.
    But do more dynamic poses.

humanNature6115 - who needs dynamic poses when you have poser... -_- j/k thanks man! yeah I should really do more figure drawing.....

Here's a continuation of the guardbot idea:

Lo and behold my fine ladies and gentlemen: it's the Cofbot3000(tm) -- it will deliver coffée right to your desk at the press of a button, perfect for cubicle heaven we come to love in the 22nd century. Modular design makes it an easy task to switch the head gear to a guard state-of-the-art AI gun drone that will shoot burglars or any tresspasser at night.

It will be a blast at your company party (just make sure you have THE RIGHT HEAD GEAR)

It has 4 legs instead of 3 (I didn't draw the 4th one out of pure lazyness):

Here's a concept I did for the "Cornered - CGSociety Game Competition #15"

"it" is missing and I can't find it.

Any ideas and feedback would be much appriciated.

Man these are awesome, love the latest concept of the house, looks so great. Great robots too, good values. You said you'd watched the nox video, did you learn much from that? Is it worth getting?
    Cheers man, like it all.

    Thanks PS Zaint

The concept of the Alien tripod dudes were done by Freya Horn (for the f2p game pets vs. monsters) and I did the final illustration. They are based on the final in-game models which I also made. Copyright Funcom.
