great thread, youve got some great digi paints going on here in the last few pages. No crits from me unfortunately. Actually I do have one observation: you tend to draw the head a little too large in proportion to the shoulders and torso, or so it seems anyway.
You might be aware of that already, but I hope that helps.
Super nice Mig

I'm part of the sketchbook-section for 4 years this month and can't thank you all enough. sounds cheesy, but who cares.
Would love to see you checking by for the next 4 years aswell, hehe!
Had quite a busy month, so its more of an obligatory update!
but gonna set my schedule much tighter now.
mainly sketching these days, but normaly they aren't worth showing
going to finish One-Piece' Arlong today
two digital doodles; 2nd is straight in color, haven't done it in a long time
and the work-in-process of the interior, if you got any questions, feel free to ask please!
You got such a Kickass sketchbook! Thanks for shearing the last one step by step I absolutely love that.
Definitely ill be coming back here
My dear.... Es hat halt einfach nen Grund, dass ihr angenommen wurdet und ich nicht.
Now crit the shit out of me!
Your sketchbook inspires me SO MUCH! I love all of it, especially your fishtanks.
so awesome man! for the sharp edges and gradients, it's just the lasso tool right? it's so nice and clean. have you ever tried doing an interior starting with straight up paint and texture, like you do with your more organic landscapes? might be worth a to try, to see if the method translates to hard surface enviros. anyway, keep up the good work!

Eightball_ yeah, totally, actually i'm trying to find a combination between those working methods and to make it more painterly than in the last one. that one also showed me that i should primary get the atmosphere and mood more intense next time. Yep, it's just lassoing thank you too!
Sorry for being late.
Cause of the fact that i'm just sketching in pencil these days i didn't quite feel like posting. strange.
Anyways, here's some junk:
an interior study, sadly photoshop killed the other one i nearly finished
pencils i've been doing mostly in the metro - also been looking at markos stuff very often these days ;P
exploring style for an uni-game ( e.g.murakami )
and an environment: 'work-in-progress'
would love to hear any thought you've got! see you next time.
Sehr gut, seeehr gut!
Looks really nice, especially the environment you just started.
I love the smooth dusty lightning you used on it.
Only the fire texture on the left (it is a texture, isn't it?) looks kind of weird right now, but I think you're going to overpaint it, right?
Keep it going,
Awesome colors, and wicked good lines man, can definitely tell you're looking at a lot of Marko's stuff in those drawings.
I still think you could work a bit on your general anatomy and proportions, your arms especially look a little wonky at times, but that's nitpicking.
Keep up the good work man!
do i really need to make a comment to the "HAPS" animation? ..........
It´s great to see that you don´t have any problems to adapt to different styles. On top of that, you add some of your personal note to it.
I know you´re working on getting everything as realistic as possible, but don´t you ever stop using this silly/funny style (like the boy designs). Very original and emotional!
Silwynar Hey, thanks man. Yep, these are some merged textures, which i'm going to overpaint a bit. But i'm not sure if i'm gonna keep working on that image now or later.
PieMonster Yeah, dude, toally right. I'm still not sure about some parts, esp. arms in fancy positons. Your words are much appreciated ! Means alot
KiBa Thanks tons.
Lux_Aeterna Nope, auf der HTW
liquorbleu Thanks alot! I'm not that happy with them so i better keep pushing hehe !
Fetsch Here you go, dude!
here's some more work on the uni-game-character
and chilling sketches without textures this time
Seriously great environment work. Good use of lighting.
[my sketchbook] I'd appreciate any critiques and comments I could get on my sketchbook!
Your envs are sooo badass. As alrdy mentioned, just a little bit more anatomy studies. Its just a small step to reach a higher level. I tend to forget all anatomy knowledge, so refreshing em now and then isnt bad idea.
Your designs are flawless, nevertheless. : )
last two environmets kick ass, great work
