Man, I agree! [this one] is great! Great composition and mood. I should do more quickies like this. Thanks!
I love the composition in 599 and importantly, the use of a variety of brushes to describe the surfaces. While you have made amazing leaps in the environment department using some wicked brushes (things i have not played with in quite some time) here and there are they are a bit too busy with texture or undescribed surfaces - areas of rock melt together or some objects arent sitting in space as well as they could) but HEY, wicked new stuff since I last visted! Great confidence in those pencil sketches as well, great stuff.
haven't been around ca for a bit, but seeing all your new stuff sure makes up for it!

good to know ....
damny your rocking the house with your environments! but one thing try to get more clearity most of them look like a speed paint and sometimes it also lacks distance...thaty my two centes so keep up the anatomy n stuff your progressing on a constant base my friend
wow man!! I just can't tell how much i love browsing through all these different sketchbooks of all these different highly motivated dudes, just as you are. And I look at the pictures of all the new updates and see that it's gettin better and better, just the way it goes when an aspiring artist keeps on pushing it, but the moments that are totally to die for, which make my heart jump up and down, are the ones where i see a picture between all the other ones that just go BAAAAAAAAANGGG, having a quality that i would not have thought of the artist being able to achieve at the skill level he's at at the moment.
You absolutely did that with this http://conceptart.org/forums/attachm...1&d=1254326207 enviro! Way to go, my friend!!!
