sooooooo. exams are over and i got vacations again - finally.

THAT MEANS 10 DAILY UPDATES - yay

my main goal is to learn as much as i can ... how to draw figures and faces mostly, cause i think i lagg there the most - i guess these basics need to be done. no i want
i'm going to draw alot from other artists, not to copy them but to learn from them ! so why not combine these things?! drawing the things i love to look at while learning from them...

    anyways, from today, day1

sketches to see what my mind struggled the most with

sweet man : ) its a great idea to draw from other artists, done my fair share of that and it really took my understanding of how other people work and solve problems one step further. : )

also, cool sketch pages, keep it real dawg. .. : )

    cheers

Stuff looks really great in here man would definitely recommend doing lots of drawings from Loomis' Drawing Heads and Hands, really helped me so far when it comes to drawing heads in all different angles. Keep up the amazing work load

your not wasting time !! Its getting cold here so ill need to get into that habit again of drawing non stop each day in a sketchbook !! You should try getting more color harmony in your enviros, you seem to include a lot of hues , try sticking your colors together to help blend all the elements together. I often use the image \ adjust \ variations
in photoshop, and then adjust stuff on top of that. Careful with the sharpen too , you should always keep a layer without the sharpen and mask the sharpen in some areas to dose it properly, otherwise you tend to end up with something that looks compressed and flat .. that knight is kickass, i like the edges quality it !

So I clicked on your sketchbook last night, went to sleep, got up, continued to have a look, realised the stuff was two years old so I clicked to the last page to see how much you'd improved, and...

    Holy hell.

Your improvement has been amazing. So much? In two years? WoW!

Loving the landscapes, as well. I don't suppose you have any links to landscape resources at all? (Alas, I haven't looked through the full thirty pages!)

Alas, I don't have concrit, but I'll be lurking in here occasionally.

    (RIP desk lamp!)

That knight study is gorgeous, damn! I think it'd be cool if you showed a bit more character and "life" in your portrait studies, make them look more like people you could imagine meeting instead of just drawings. I don't quite know how to say it. xD
But keep it up! Everything is looking damn fine!
