algenpfleger - thank you!! There are easter holidays soon, so I'll be sure to practice a lot <3
Camara - thanks!
...and study from ref. The anatomy is as worse as it could be for a study, but I also tried a different approach to shading/blending, and that's why I still decided to upload it.

skorpi - Thank you! Well, if you still want to have me after my months of absence ... D:
Call0ps - Thanks!
Maerrick - Thank you!!
and here are some studies.
well, if you can call it like that... actually I rather read through the book properly, look at the images and afterwards do scribbles to see if I understood what I've read. I'd guess that's better for the moment, I first need an overview before going too much into detail... °_°"
and some sketch to see what I can't do and have to study more ~
and some doodle, finally

I'm back... I hope. For the last years, I've been doing a dual study bachelor program in computer science. With this and life keeping me busy, I haven't been able to produce a lot of art. However, I'm graduating this year. Soon, it is again time to decide what I want to do. And honestly, I can do all this computer stuff now and its very useful, but its not something that I want to do all day every day. My passion is still with art. That's why I'm here again!
At the moment I'm exploring. In addition to digital painting in photoshop, I recently learned about vector graphics, some design, played around with pattern making, and am now diving into everything 3D.
For now, I'd first like to post a little bit of the old stuff, then my most recent works. I think I've got hundreds of unpublished sketches/speedpaints/unfinished wips on my hard disk. I'm no concept artist so I'm not sure whether all of this perfectly fits in here... but, as this place is surely among the largest & best art communities on the web, I hope it is fine with you
As always, critics and comments are all very appreciated! ♥ Thank you very much.

A pattern made with seamless studio...
...and finally, this is what I'm working on right now!
Both are not finished yet, I'm still trying to figure out how I can best do the shading/rendering/composition part.
This was done completely in zBrush:
I started this because of the gnomon forums contest. This months theme is "portrait of a warrior". There is also a WIP thread for it: http://forums.thegnomonworkshop.com/...ead.php?t=5149
And the second one is just for fun
I want to do something really colorful. I think I'll add some more objects for the background, but I'm still not sure. Modeled and painted this in zBrush, background & render in Maya.
Sorry for the long post & thank you very much for viewing!

I finished that guy from my last post. Here is the result:
Besides that, I also sculpted another head for fun:
And... finally decided to order my copy of zbrush. I'm so anxious to be finally able to work with dynamesh and hair! Hope I can use it well and often.

Your style's really unique, love it. Can't really offer you professional critiques but as far as I'm concerned you don't need much of that! Great work

I really like your use of colour!

@luferndes Thank you so much! It makes me happy to hear such kind words
@JokerKillJoy Very happy to hear that!
Meanwhile, I did some 30 second posemaniancs sketches. It's not the first time I'm doing this, but it's still difficult for me. I'm too slow to draw any help lines & the figure in 30 seconds, and I'm not used to drawing a figure without any helplines at all... so, I couldn't finish a lot of the figures.
I also did a quick sketch, just for relaxation...
... but what I'm mainly doing right now is learning 3D!
I finally got my ZBrush license, so now I can play around with all the new features. This is what I'm currently working on:
There's plenty for me to learn, both in painting and in 3D. I'm so happy that I have time to learn and create more right now.
Thank you very much for viewing !

@-D_art- Thank you! Glad you like them
People keep telling me to study anatomy. I've always been too lazy for it. Now, in order to become serious, I want to overcome my laziness and actually study anatomy. Those 30 seconds posemaniac sketches are a good start I think.
I am faster now, but more sloppy. I hope they'll become prettier with more practice
Then, I did another zbrush sculpt for fun and practice.
I wanted to try texturing, therefore used alphas and spotlight for the first time in this. A lot of fun!
I'd love to put this in an environment... maybe like this:

I did something which I never did before. Got some paper, sat down in the city center and drew some random people that were walking by. It was very difficult because everyone changed their position again so fast, but it was a lot of fun! I'd love to do it more often, especially on nice and sunny days like in the moment =D
I'm not content with how they turned out, but hey, I'm sure they're going to get better if I continue to practice.
Some posemaniacs 30s sketches...
Some zbrush fun with hair and weird face expression. Just a preview, not a render.
And some comic style poster typography thing. I have a lot of fun trying and experimenting with different things and styles at the moment! =)

more! : D
I'm very motivated right now, I want to make good use of the time that I have! =)
I get especially motivated by the japanese tv series "carnation" at the moment. It is based on the life of the fashion designer Ayako Koshino. When I watch this show, I really feel like working very hard to reach my dreams and goals.
So, here's some anatomy exercise:
And some dresses and other fashion from reference. Spent usually less then 1 min on one of those.
And these were just for fun =) I feel the impact from the posemaniac stuff already. Even if the anatomy is still totally off, drawing any pose has already become a lot easier for me.

More new 3D stuff. All wip but still worth showing I think
First, a scene with two characters I'm working on. I'm having a hard time getting the anatomy of the guy right, I'd be happy for any suggestions
Then, my sculpt for this months' gnomon forums contest "space helmet".
