    Hi GrafGuy!
    that 3d vehicle looks good!
that last update seemed kinda rushed though...
hopefully we'll see more of your finished pieces and
    detailed studies.
as your skills improve, I'd love to see more of that punk girl
    that you posted above!

my only coment by now is you should try to approach drawing lips differently. don't start with the whole outline of the lips- rather start with the line between them and the shadow that the lower lip casts. then you can add an upper lip and see if an outline for the lower one is needed. you don't need to do the wholeoutlines, just signalize that the lip is there.
the best solution would be defining lips with value, not linework

Now thats more like it.. kudos for the time spent on it, i hate doing long studies ;-) A few crits tho, the nose seems a little off, it appears to be stuck out as far at the top as it is at the nostrils, also the width should taper a little towards the top. The bag under her left (our right) eye should match the other side. The crease below the cheek next to the mouth could be softened a little. Hope it helps, want to see this one finished oneday ;-)

    Hi Grafguy,
Cool painting. It's hard for me to crit this because I also still learning this sort of things but one I thing I notice is the nose. I think the nosetop should be more "up". So far the crit but I'm sure you can get more information from Rand's post .
Anyway, the translated the expression well and I like the values too, so good job on this one I think .

    Keep posting!
