Hi thanks for dropping by. I will try to do more portraits from different angles. Thanks for the tip.

Your modeling is very nice. I can't even come close to what you are doing there. But, with your coloring, I think you should pick and choose your colors more carefully. Somehow the tones aren't fitting well with each other. I love your referenced art though.

    Keep it up

whoa man, soften that jawline and make those lips smaller. Right now she looks like a dude with a wig. same for the collar bones.

with feminin faces think soft and flowing.

Also that square brush on her hair is pretty obvious, try useing a smoother alpha for that.

Do yourself a favour and sculpt the woman naked first, then make the clothes as seperate subtools, it helpts your anatomy and makes the bake look alot more real and less like clay.

Its lookinf a bit more womanish, but the nose lips and brow are still a bit hard dont be afraid to soften stuff out even if it means loosing alot of the detail you had to sculpt in .

an update on the face and also the rest of the body
besides what muzzoid said, some people said that the face looked more like a basemesh than someone's face. so i tried to change that and keep everything as smoot has possible

Hi Grafguy . Personally I would make her nose smaller and her eyes somewhat bigger. Maybe make her lips more prominent. Anyway, I hope it helps. Looking forward to your low poly, good luck .

Watch the edges on that last one. I say sharoen some up a little. The character on top of the page is very good especially facially. Nice style and expression.

Janos: thnx for the comment, i know about the lines, but ive put some sort of post-effect on it to blur and bloom

ive almost finished the normal maps on my model, need to fix the hair, wich is causing problems while baking, and getting the glitches out of the map

Hey, good jib with the character, she looks more feminine now. Cool sketches too, pitty they're not so well scanned. Anway, try to do more studies, although I now this can be difficult with our studies, but they will make you improve even faster

Hey and nice SB! You seem really advanced with the 3D stuff, it looks amazing. Is that what you're studying perhaps? I'm really impressed, either way! Will you maybe colour some of these models, or better yet, render them?

I like your 2D work as well, but there isn't a lot of them. I hope you'll practice those more. Keep it up

Edit: Sorry, a few of the images didn't load when I commented--seems like you did do some colour stuff, then! I take that back, they look wonderful!

Thanks for the advice. I will do more angles. I just dont feel like I got the frontal down packed yet. Everytime I wanna do a different angle, I end up hating it

Holy shit, student DAE? The world is a small place. I'm going to DAE next year. (in about 4 months) (Ik spreek dus ook Nederlands, maar voor duidelijkheid zal ik naar engels overschakelen )

Sweet SB! Love the random anatomy sketches.

Any tips on what I should work on most (as preperation)? I'm fairly good with 3D-modelling already (max, Zbrush, wings3D) with exception of doing animation. I was wondering if you could generally give me some tips on what I might expect during the education :]

Is the programming as tough as I think it will be?

How's the pressure? Could you give some examples of assigments you got? (for digital painting/concept art for example)

Sorry for the overload of questions!

Nice stuff, you're getting better and better! Especially with your 3d stuff - I like how your hooker character is going . I've just started modelling my first character in Max and I'm not finding it easy, so I'm impressed already xD

Hi graf, reallly like the army kid, kinda sad, but cool :p. Know nothing about baby's anatomy so I can't give much comments. Only thing I can say that it looks like a baby, so thats a good thing .

About the SP, pretty cool, the only thing I can suggest here is that you should do one every day
