The legs on the side view might be too far forward. Considering the apparent placement of the spine, he seems to be a bit off balance.

I like how your design has fleshed out over the weeks. Can't wait for the finished piece.

I'm not a big fan of the gun in the corner of the composition. i think semi circles in the upper corner of any image are a bad idea (remember when we drew suns in the corners of our pictures when we were like five? I think it's mirroring that a big much. that might sound ridiculous and maybe it's just me, but I can't do it.)

Your foreshortening's also not working so well. He just looks like he has a long arm.

Who are you fighting for? haven't seen you on the polycount... so you're the enemy.

but i can see what your saying.

yeah i saw that two haha i drew the gun then drew him and then they ran together instead of planning it all out first haha.

    okie dokie!
here is my final composition! i went with the more basic pose, but tried to give it a little more life.
the junk heap is other forum peoples entries and same with the back ground is on big character but ill paint it with heavy atmospheric perspective. same with the foreground heap will all be muddied out so the focus is on the main guy

this is where i really need your help! let me know whats wrong and what could be better!

Hey dude, the linework one is awesome
and i think cause the background is free and plain
    makes the character stand out,
in this last one even if its work in progress
the contrast in the background is stealing too much attention

    i would suggest:
    1) making the sky background overall way lighter
and the character and ground darker

    or
    2) the sky background way darker
    and character and ground lighter

i feel for now both share the similar values and saturation.

and that sculptey character is awesome,
dude best of lucks i really hope you can finish
and i like this character it has a lot of style.

    you can do it !!
