The school 3Kicks Fine Art Studio that I started is accepting enrollment for the Fall semester. The fall semester begins on Sept. 24th.
There are many new classes being offered this Fall. Sean Cheetham is doing a head painting class, Gary Meyer is doing a Figure and Environment painting workshop, Bill Perkins is teaching a watercolor painting workshop. There are also other new 10 week courses at 3Kicks.
Thank you very much for all the support. Sorry that I could not update my lectures as often as I would like due to my crazy schedule. However, I will keep posting any of my new stuff when I have a chance.
Your stuff is amazing. I'm intimidated by your ability to create some of these BIG drawings out of your head. No model! Thanks for providing some awesome reference material, especially the knee. Very generous of you to post your demos for us to learn from.
You are an amazing artist and teacher. I'm glad I took your classes at LAAFA and glad you have your studio classes up and running.
Hi there! I am an instant fan of your work, especially since you use a lot of the same figure models we have had at laguna college for your demos.
I have a brief study I did from a torso in your first-page post in my thread. (my sketch thread is here; http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho....php?p=2004966 ) It's not much, but it provoked a mini-revelation in me as I was drawing it that I talk about in my thread. On that note, I would like to ask you - any suggestions for how I should go about doing studies from your work? Edit: Or better yet, any sort of further exercises I could do you could recommend?
Also I am looking at likely enrolling in your school for summer 2009, which should be a real blast!

Your stuff is inspires me to work even harder. I realise, that my work process is too slow. I need to spend more time on it. Your sketchbook have ton of usefull information. Will be looking after you often
Awesome life drawing, Charles. Looking at your stuff is a great motivator. Although, it makes me realize just how far I have to go and how hard I will have to work to get there. Thanks for sharing them.
