    Portarait of my wife

so here i am downloading all the MB vids and i am looking and listening to how Mr Jones (Andrew that is) describes his work flow, plilosophy, etc. pretty entertaining and informative... let me try...so i started doing the whole shape thing and on a small canvas and next thing i know i am painting a portrait of my wife or at least her likeness. the results are below...hell i like it. It is different than what i have been doing and it will definitely help inspire future works. it damn sure is a good visual work out, especially since i have been in a slump as far as creativity as of late.

Oh and if you have ever ran face first into a creative road block, which should be almost everyone on this sight, and you have not been able to go to any of the MB workshops for whatever reason, such as my self, then these videos are a must to get those artistic juices flowing. For know i suppose i will practice and hope that MB decides to do a workshop in Iraq in the near future....

you have some great shapes going on in this one, well done . adding in big bold shapes will help balance the composition and give great shape contrast to the image. keep exploring, This particular shape technique your referring to from the downloads is how kick start my creativity. Im looking forward to how you will be incorporating this into you blow, well done

If i was your wife, i would be very happy of such a portrait. I'm not but i'm happy anyway.
