    Illustration question

    Hello,

I own a paperback edition of Narcissus and Goldmund which has a famous illustration on the cover of 4 women and the 2 monks with the cutaway view of the monastery's column. The ISDN # is: 978-0-553-27586-5 (0-553-27586-0) on Bantam Books.

I know this style looks so familiar to me and yet I cannot remember the name of this particular illustrator.

    Thanks,

    -Adam

I'm pretty sure that series of Hesse covers was by Sanjulian.

That's got to be him! Yeah!

EDIT: This guy is one of my gods of inspiration.
