    Mars settlement

    Yo.
Long time since I`ve posted anything here so I thought I might show you some of my work, which also can be found on my homepage. The theme is settlement on Mars. I tried to imagine how it could look like when someone tried to establish a small community on this planet. I tried to keep a "dirty" look on the surfaces as the equipment have been exposed of heavy weather and rough conditions. I hope you enjoy them, and it would be nice with som feedback. I modeled simple 3d models first to make the perspective better. painted and adjusted in photoshop.

Nice mood and colors, i like what you did with the second picture, original composition, it looks like an old poster (remind me the old russian propaganda posters).

Fantastic work mate. It's like you have Ridley Scott's eye for detailed production values: design, atmosphere, realism and grit. Especially the first one

Phix: Thats the best complement I could ever get!

I forgot to tell you that they were all drawn with pencil in the beginning, and then colored in Ps.
