The way the deadline works: if deadline is on a Sunday and your image is posted on that Sunday 23:59 your local time it's a good entry.
In fact - as long there is Sunday somewhere on the planet your entry is ok. I will make the poll sometimes Monday evening my time (GMT - 8 ) yet I'll have a look at the last entries.
POST YOUR FINALS IN THE FINAL BURNING THREAD!
Remember to include your nickname in the filename.
About quality - as general rule: if your shapes and values are not decent - you are out. Watch proportions, perspective etc. we need perfectly readable shapes and coherent, consistent values.
BE PROFESSIONAL - only finished and good quality entries will be taken to the poll. Oregano and Daestwen (yay!) will make the selection.

A true challenge. How to NOT do something that's been done millions of times over.
...or else screw that and just do eye-candy. Hmmmmm.

Can we twist the definition of the title? So hot would refer to actually being very hot (sun burn hot), and pinup up as in limbs pinned together like a frankenstein?
Its just hard to make something unique with this. Maybe thats what you have planned? A challenge to end all challenges?

couldn't find a larger shot for that one
Obviously this guy needs a head
and I *really* should post this in the LDS thread in the lounge just to be a stinker, but I'm not going to
Anyway, that should give you an idea, or at least some visual references. It's really not a big deal. In my opinion, Pinups are a weird combination of camp and class, so just have fun with it

Any guys who wuss out on "hot pinup" should remember the gals have no complaints painting lovely girls all the time. You don't know how to do "hot" or a male figure? That's what a challenge is ABOUT.

(As also shown in the above photo references)
"..Many “pin ups” were photographs of celebrities who were considered sex symbols...These days men can be considered “pin ups” as well and there are male equivalents of attractive and sexy actors..."

and here is our model vlad for our winter/spring collection: featuring a typical armor and cliche' cape available in black and red only.
seriously..its one of my first attempts at a character so i could very well use some critics..used some ref for the pose but trying to draw the face from immagination that's why its all wrong had a massive problem trying to paint it with his head reclined towards the back expectially the jaw/neck area
very promising start Lewis!!
dont give up joey-b your pic got potential. wings and hand position makes it a good composition too.

Not raggin' on you - just saying the "been done before" can be used on a LOT of stuff posted here.
I think Oregano is right - pinups have a certain campy quality - provocative but not overtly obscene. The beefcake photos from the 1950's are a good example.
Methinks a few people are going to get hung up or stymied on the "male" thing - I'm a bit glad to see it as part of the challenge - for those people who find it easy to draw voluptuous curvy sex kittens with very little clothing, this will prove a challenge. And as Mirana said earlier, "You don't know how to do "hot" or a male figure? That's what a challenge is ABOUT."
I looked at yours, now you look at mine...sketchbook here
